Links you must check out today

I was in Atlanta all week, and most of my time was spent on the road, so I've been a little out of the loop. But I'm catching up on things, and thought I'd share some links with you.

Ethiopian Adoption

For those of you who aren't aware, this last week it was reported that Ethiopia would be reducing the number of adoptions processed by 90%. This was a huge blow for all of us in the adoption community who love this country and know the desperate need, and of course heart-wrenching news for friends who are in process and directly affected by this change. While we do not want to see adoptions slow down or see our friends wait longer for their children, we do want to fight for ethical adoptions and ultimately what is best for the children. We also know that God is on His throne, and "Greater is He that is in us than he that is in the world"--ultimately He is calling the shots, and we are praying for Him to move on behalf of millions of children who do need families.. Read my friend Erica's post to help keep it in perspective.

Also, take a minute to go here and sign this petition to fight for ethical adoption in Ethiopia.
